| dc.description | Abstract The study aimed mainly to reveal the reality of the logistics services provided by Dubai Municipality in the Emirate of Dubai and their impact on achieving sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates, by revealing the extent of the influence of the main factors that contribute to the success of Dubai as a leading center for transportation and logistics services in the Middle East region. and North Africa and learn how the logistics sector in Dubai meets the need for rapid, low-cost global distribution and effective movement of goods between different modes of transport that affect the achievement of sustainable development goals, in addition to clarifying how Dubai Municipality deals with the opportunities and potential risks associated with continuous expansion. And the development of logistics services in Dubai, especially in the context of sustainable development, by adopting a qualitative approach and using the interview tool that was conducted with the participants, members of the study sample, represented by 10 managers and experts working in the Dubai Municipality in the United Arab Emirates. Accordingly, the results of the study showed that there are many Among the factors that contribute to the success of Dubai as a leading center for transportation and logistics services in the Middle East and North Africa region, the most prominent of these factors is the development of logistical infrastructure, which is clearly evident in the emirate’s road infrastructure, port facilities, logistical facilities, multimodal connectivity, and smart infrastructure. The emirate's regulatory framework is considered one of the most important of these factors, and the logistics services sector in the Emirate of Dubai meets the need for rapid, low-cost global distribution and effective movement of goods between different modes of transport, which affects the achievement of sustainable development goals through highly efficient supply chain management, facilitating trade and achieving Environmental sustainability, innovation, technology adoption, and benefiting from technical solutions such as route optimization programs, inventory management systems, and predictive analytics. In light of these results, the study recommended developing and employing artificial intelligence and graphic analysis techniques in logistical transportation operations aimed at improving global distribution operations in the Emirate of Dubai, increasing their speed, and reducing their cost. And increasing the effectiveness of various modes of transportation. Adopting these technologies contributes to improving supply chain management and providing more efficient and sustainable logistical services. Creating a special committee affiliated with Dubai Municipality concerned with developing logistics services in Dubai and cooperating with the private sector to enhance commitment to environmental initiatives and sustainable practices, and working to motivate companies to Adopting environmentally friendly technology and providing incentives to institutions that adhere to high environmental standards. | |
