| dc.description.abstract | The UAE has introduced various measures to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, such as transitioning schools and universities to online platforms, suspending public gatherings, adapting working from home arrangements and mandating social distancing. The pandemic has also led to a shift in the paradigm of where healthcare delivery takes place. Adopting telemedicine has been accelerated and the shift is already materializing. Government services utilized an already strong technological infrastructure to complete its transition to online platforms. اتخذت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة تدابير متنوعة للتعامل مع جائحة كوفيد-19، مثل تحويل المدارس والجامعات إلى منصات إلكترونية، وتعليق التجمعات العامة، وتكييف ترتيبات العمل من المنزل، وفرض التباعد الاجتماعي. كما أدت الجائحة إلى تحول في نموذج تقديم الرعاية الصحية، حيث تسارع اعتماد التطبيب عن بُعد، وبدأ هذا التحول يتحقق بالفعل. واستفادت الخدمات الحكومية من بنية تحتية تكنولوجية متينة بالفعل لإكمال انتقالها إلى المنصات الإلكترونية. | |
